Berry Chia Seed Ice-Pops 

Makes 4 large ice pops

Aveen’s Top Tip: Use milled chia seeds if you would like to disguise the seeds from your children in the ice pops!

Berry Chia Seed Ice Pops

Nutritonal Information 

– 72 kcal

– No Added Sugar 

– Dairy Free    

– High in Fibre (5g)

– Source of Omega 3(.7g)               

These ice-pops are a refreshing snack or perfect desert for the family. Kids love making these ice-pops and eating them, so get them involved! The recipe is dairy free but do alter to use cow’s milk if you wish. Cow’s milk will also boost the protein content. Each pop provides just over 1 of your five a day and is a source of omega-3 and high in fibre…while simply being yummy!

Ingredients

– 240g of strawberries chopped

– 125g of raspberries

– 1 mashed banana

– 240 mls of almond milk

– 15g of chia seeds

Method

  1. Place the fruit, milk and chia into a blender. Blend until the fruit is chunky or smooth, as desired.
  2. Pour into an ice-pop mould.
  3. Freeze for 3-4 hours until solid and serve.
